SHE Representitive Course
Overview:
Upon completion of the course, the learner will have a better understanding of the functions and responsibility of a Health and Safety Representative. The learner will be able to carry out basic inspections and participate in HSE committee procedures.
Students will learn how to review effectiveness of health and safety measures, identify potential hazards, examine causes of incidents; investigate complaints, and advise the committee and employer.
You will also learn about the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and its regulations with regards to employers, employees, health and safety representatives and also health and safety committees.
More specifically, you will get to know more about the role, responsibilities and duties of the health and safety representative.
