YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IS 55.20%

South Africa's youth unemployment rate currently stands at 55.20%. This is the highest youth unemployment rate in the world. ​It is largely due to the fact that many individuals do not have the skills demanded by the employment environment. The top 10 jobs in demand, all require some form of computer literacy.

HELP THE YOUTH GET EMPLOYED THROUGH COMPUTER LITERACY

StellieTech has spent the last 5 years engaging with people who want to up-skill themselves in order to increase their employment opportunities.
In our experience, the skill highest in demand in any work environment, is computer literacy.
With our team of specialists we developed a course that provides individuals with the knowledge they need to become computer literate, and ultimately get a job.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO HELP

We have partnered with a center in Khayelitsha to facilitate an introduction to computers course to the youth in the community. This course will give individuals the tools they need to open the doors to the employment world.

For every R 50 donated, we will provide a student with an introduction to computer literacy course. Providing them with essential workplace skills and a mechanism to uplift themselves in this ever growing digital world.
